Public buildings floor slip testing
Councils, leisure trusts, transport hubs and visitor attractions across Cornwall and the South West — tested with the pendulum, reported with measured PTVs you can stand behind.
The risk
Where public buildings floors fail
High footfall, wet weather walked in at every door, and a duty of care to the public. Measured pendulum data is the defensible record that shows you took slip risk seriously.
Pendulum PTV
We test wet and dry and give you a PTV per area — the HSE’s preferred measure of slip risk.
Evidence on file
A UKAS-accredited report that shows the HSE, the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and, for care providers, the CQC were taken seriously.
What to do next
If a floor is below 36 PTV we set out the realistic options to bring it back into the safe zone.
